Books, books, books

So I've been reading this book by Colleen Coble and it's pretty good!

It's a little intense and has me on edge and ready to figure out who is doing this to her!
It's one of her older books but it's great,
Suspenseful, romantic but good Christian values also!
Check out more of Colleens stuff! She's a wonderful writer!

You're enjoying my blog so far feel free to comment!

Memories 🎶🎶🎶🎶

Hello everyone! Gosh isn't it beautiful today in the Tennessee valley!? Days like these take me back to watching baseball with my dad and brother and eating hot dogs and fries and those ring pops? Remember those! Wow haha. We spent almost everyday of summer at the ball park and  I used to compare schedules and check the standings online every Saturday night to see who had the best team, best pitchers and in and out fielders and hitters, and then try to decide whether they'd win or loose against the next team. I used to play wall ball with my brother and his friends and keep my own score book for his games by the dugout. Baseball was pretty much my life back then. Those were the good days! Things have changed now but I still look back from time to time and think about them. I've for some great stories to tell and I'll get around to them eventually but until then I'm just enjoying the weather and spring time as much as possible!

Enjoy whatever suits your fancy in this fine weather and God bless!

Oh. Waves. Beach. Please.

There is something about being on the beach for me that is so relaxing. God really did make something beautiful and provided a wonderful place for us to relax. The weather here has been on a roller coaster lately as we transition from winter to spring and it's got me excited for summer and the beach! So here are some pictures I took the last time I went with my family! It's absolutely beautiful!

We saw this near our condo one year and we just loved it!

Take a few deep breaths and relax after these pictures, I know I will be! God sure painted a wonderful sunset! He is so beautiful and amazing!

Thought for the day, God has your back though think and thin and will never leave you! Think warm relaxing thoughts and let God have your cares!:)
Till next time
God bless!

Spring is on the way!

Hi everyone! I was outside today and couldn't help but think about how God created everything for us! Such beautiful seasons and landscapes! Sky's that are so blue and flowers that are so colorful!

So with that in mind,  spring is around the corner and everything is about to bloom which means...
Pollen... But it also means... Rebirth, new blooms, and flowers!! That's my favorite part about spring!
I love to see bare branches come alive after a hard, cold winter. Its absolutely beautiful! It reminds me that God can give us a new beginning. His grace is amazing and His love is unchanging and everlasting! He created Heaven and earth! Everything from the flowers to the trees! It's easy to get caught up in life and forget or miss all of springs beauty. So the next time you see flowers or feel springs warm sunshine and cool breeze, stop and "smell the roses" and remember that God created it all and He loves you and wants to have a relationship with you. He can take you from bare and dry to lively and beautiful!

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy Spring time! God Bless Yall!

For whatever suits your fancy

Hello everyone! Welcome!

So this is my first post you see. I was given a sudden burst of inspiration to write tonight from watching Little Women. It is one of the best movies out there. I am in love with the time frame. OK I'm in love with just plain everything about it. I wish to one day be a writer you see, watching Miss Jo March write just sparks a passion in me to write from my own heart and soul.
Watching this movie reminds me of when me and my sisters would dress up in our mama's old dresses and pretend to dance at fancy balls and play house and teach our stuffed animals and dolls reading and writing and play doctor to the "sick" baby dolls. Such wonderful memories.  Time sure does fly by as now I'm a freshman in college and the third oldest of six kids. Every time I turn around I see younger siblings driving and older ones starting forward with their lives, following their dreams. I'm very proud of them. God has blessed me with a wonderful family and I'm so thankful!

So my advice to all you out there is to go after what you are passionate about! Get out of your comfort zones! God has BIG plans for your life! Don't let life pass you by while doing things you are not in love with. Change your major a HUNDRED times before finding your passion. I sure did lol. I dont know what I will do on the side but I WILL write and write from my heart and soul.

Remember Jesus loves you and designed you just the way you are! Even when you sit at home on the couch in your pajamas eating double fudge brownie ice cream watching chick flicks or reading christian historical romance novels. (OK confession, maybe not everyone reads christian historical romance novels...that's just me.lol.) He loves you for you! Even when your all by yourself! :) Do what makes you happy, your passion, and what suits your fancy.

Till next time, thanks for stopping by!

Have a wonderful Valentines Day and God Bless You!
